Axe's "End of the World" survival kit

What would you do if the world is about to end?  What would you possibly bring if you were to choose to bring some essential things to start a new in a different world?  These are actually some of the thoughts I had whenever I come across a movie which about the same topic, today is the day all life in the face of the earth vanishes.  I was lucky enough to receive some help from a good friend of mine, Mr Jeman Bunyi Villanueva (aka Jeman B Villanueva,) of Orange Magazine to receive a special package from a world renowned company that would equip me with some of the things which would help jump start my mind on knowing what to do and be prepared should the time come that we face the end of the world...

The Rope...
One of the basic things you need to survive would be a rope, a rope can help a lot in building your shelter, binding things, making to things hold on to each other, and a lot of other things...  You never know what you can do with some extra rope?
The Fuel
It's pretty hard to start a fire just using sticks and stones, so having a small amount of fuel would ease up the pain of starting one.  A few clicks with the stones, or some friction with wood and dried grass, dash with some fuel, would help you start a fire in no time.  I wonder what you can do with those extra fuel left?  Like some massage oil?  I bet it would really help start the heat faster...

The Handcuffs
Of all the things in the kit, this definitely surprised me...  Must be in case of securing enemies nearby, or just the cute or lovely girls who would have a hard time finding the man that knows how to survive the harsh new world you would start all over with.  Definitely a must to bring then...

The Tourniquet
Injuries can't be help, especially if you are walking a uncharted area seeking for food, shelter, or some company... This would really help you a lot if by any chance you do get inflicted with some harsh wounds or injuries that needs some control, especially on stopping some bleeding.  This could also help a lot as a cloth to keep you warm at night... warmer if you got some company...

The Final Edition
Alone in a new world?  Finding a hard time looking for survivors?  Then look no further, with just a small amount of spray from Axe's 2012, you won't even have to count from 1 to 10.  The land would suddenly tremble, like an earthquake suddenly shaking the new land you're in, because girls would suddenly start running towards the light citrus scent, combined with the smell of sweat emanating from your body.  Works like a flame in the middle of a darkened roomed filled with moths.  And you know what happens when a moth nears a flame right?  They get burned...

So plan ahead, try to collect this simple survival kit, you never know when the end of the world would happen...  And it's good to know, Axe is there to help you until the very end, or I might say, a new beginning.

Underworld: Awakening

The human race found out that Vampires and Lycans do exist, so they start to hunt and eradicate all of them.  The movie starts from the end of Underworld: Evolution where Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) has just killed Marcus and William, the sons of Corvinus where the vampire and lycan race started.

The movie is similar to the first two installments of the Underworld trilogy, leather, guns, and gore!  Of course, I'm a very big fan of vampires (the ones who doesn't shine when struck by sunlight) like the ones in the movie "The Vampire Lestat" by Anne Rice.  Plus the fact that Kate Beckinsale is in it, all the more was I thrilled to watch this movie.  So if you are the type who seeks action in vampire films, you definitely would want to see this.  Imagine Selene confronting a lycan which is about 4X to 5X the size of a normal one?  It's so huge that every footstep it makes the ground actually trembles like there's an earthquake.  Would really make you anticipate what would happen next right?

Anyway, I would definitely watch this again even though I already saw the premiere since I really loved the film.  I loved it not because of how great the story is, but how entertaining watching Kate Beckinsale killing lycans in a leather suit with her bright blue eyes glimmering in the dark and blood gushing everywhere.  A two thumbs up for returning this to the big screen and in 3D as well.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his trusty sidekick Dr. Watson (Jude Law) returns to this much anticipated sequel to face Holmes most elusive and greatest adversary Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris).

The film still takes place at Holmes home town London where he meets up with an old acquaintance Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams).  Unaware of the danger that lurks with this meeting, Sherlock faces them head on and eventually asks Watson to help him for one last time.  Everything you loved from the first film continues here.  From the slow motion action of Homes to the death and coming to life of Watson's dog.  A Game Of Shadows will keep you wanting to see what happens next from beginning to end, as you try to solve the mystery together with Holmes and Watson.  One of the things I liked from the movie was that they lessened the slow motion parts, it was best that they did that so the film would not be too dragging in terms of action scenes.  I also looked forward to Holmes "blending" costumes, it was both hilarious and amazing at the same time.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows will be shown tomorrow in all Philippine cinemas.  It's the first movie I have watched for this year and it was worth the wait.  Had lots of fun watching the film so I know you guys would also, enjoy the show! ^_^
